The Fountains Shopping Center
The Fountains Center is the presenting sponsor and
underwriter of the Helen Gold Run/Walk benefiting Parkinson's research
at University of Kansas Medical Center. Shopping center co-owner and
president of G-K Development Company, Ron Gold is dedicated to
supporting efforts that raise money to find a cure for Parkinson's
disease. The race is named for Ron's mother who fought this disease for
25 years and benefited from care at KU Medical Center. The race starts
and ends at The Fountains Center, 119th and Glenwood near The Cheesecake Factory restaurant.
